Malaria Control Program

At TibaSalama Digital Health, our “Malaria Control Program” leverages technology and the power of Community Health Workers (CHWs) to prevent, detect, and respond to malaria infections-especially among pregnant women and children under five in underserved communities.

We use door-to-door approach and a digital-first strategy to enhance malaria interventions at the community level. CHWs are trained and equipped with mobile tools through the TibaSalama app to:

✅ Track malaria cases in real-time and ensure rapid response and treatment.

✅ Provide digital health education to families about malaria prevention, mosquito net use,
and early symptoms.

✅ Refer severe cases to nearby health centers using our integrated referral and emergency
coordination system.

✅ Collect and report data that feeds into a centralized web-based monitoring dashboard
for district health teams.

Technology in Action

✅ OurMobile app allows CHWs to conduct digital screenings and log symptoms instantly. ✅ Integration with geospatial data helps map high-risk areas for targeted interventions. ✅ Ourweb-based platform ensures that healthcare supervisors can monitor field activities, patient follow-ups, and medicine availability in real time. CHWs are trusted members of the community and are often the first point of contact for those in remote areas. By empowering CHWs with digital tools, we enhance early detection, timely referrals, and community-level surveillance of malaria.
