Founder & CEO

Simon A. Mashauri is a sociologist, digital health innovator, and social entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in public health and community development. He is the Founder & CEO of TibaSalama Digital Health Company Limited, a Tanzanian social enterprise focused on improving maternal and child health through technology and Community Health Workers (CHWs). Simon's leadership has driven sustainable health initiatives that promote community ownership, government collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.

Sheila Mutheu Kioko

Digital Transformation Leader

Sheila Mutheu Kioko is a digital transformation leader with extensive experience in driving innovation efforts in the health sector across Africa. She has specialized expertise in aligning technology with government and development priorities to strengthen health systems. She has led high-impact projects through organizations such as Population Services International, Africa CDC, Living Goods, and the Clinton Health Access Initiative, focusing on ensuring that technology is applied in line with public health needs. Sheila is an expert in building strategic partnerships that accelerate the adoption of innovative, scalable, and data-driven solutions to strengthen health systems.

Dr. Deborah Maufi

Dr. Deborah Maufi

Technical Advisor – MHH & SRHR, PSI-Europe

Dr. Deborah Maufi is a technical advisor in menstrual health and hygiene (MHH) and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) at PSI-Europe. She has over 10 years of experience working with startups and NGOs to improve SRHR services and maternal and newborn health outcomes across Africa, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) and an MBA. She was recognized as one of the HIMSS Future50 Clinical Leaders in 2021. As a member of the TibaSalama Advisory Board, she contributes meaningfully to reducing maternal and child mortality for children aged 0–5 in Tanzania.

CPA Salome Nindi is a Certified Public Accountant in Public Practice (CPA-PP), registered with NBAA. She has over 10 years of experience in auditing, accounting, forensic investigations, and financial consultancy. As a TibaSalama Advisory Board member, she advises on effective and accountable use of financial resources for sustainable impact.

Dr. Mwalingo is a lecturer and researcher in maternal and child health at the University of Dodoma. Her research focuses on improving maternal and neonatal outcomes through technology and evidence-based practices. She ensures TibaSalama's solutions align with clinical best practices and address critical gaps in access and equity.

Hindu Ibrahim is a Public Health Specialist with an MSc in Public Health and BSc in Nursing. At Benjamin Mkapa Hospital, she leads innovation, research, and program development. A committed advocate for GBV prevention and gender equity, she plays a strategic role in TibaSalama's governance and innovation.

General Medical Practitioner

Dr. Marygoreth Richard Munser is a general medical practitioner dedicated to providing patient-centered care and promoting community health. She combines compassion, professionalism, and evidence-based approaches in her clinical practice. Dr. Munser is a graduate of the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) in Tanzania, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine degree. With a strong passion for continuous learning and improving healthcare access, she has developed a deep interest in public health, digital health solutions, and medical education. Her approach emphasizes empathy, clear communication, and holistic care. Dr. Munser aspires to be a catalyst for change in the health sector, particularly in Maternal and Child Health, leveraging her clinical expertise and innovative thinking to improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery, especially in underserved communities
