TimelyCare Program
TimelyCare Program is a flagship program under TibaSalama designed to strengthen the capacity of community health workers and facility-based healthcare providers to deliver high quality, timely, and respectful care to mothers and children aged 0–5 years.
Through continuous and practical training, TimelyCare builds clinical competencies in reproductive health, early risk identification, emergency care, and newborn care. The training emphasizes patient-centered care that is equitable, compassionate, and responsive to community needs.
The program is powered by the E-Health Mom system-a digital platform that enables Community Health Workers (CHWs) to collect real-time health data, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate timely care delivery. This system bridges the communication gap between households and health facilities, ensuring that every pregnant woman and child receives the right health information and services at the right time. TimelyCare is also aligned with the government-led M-Mama program, which coordinates emergency referral services for pregnant women and newborns.
Through this synergy, TimelyCare strengthens the referral system by integrating digital technology and community health outreach-ultimately reducing maternal and child mortality.
Together, TimelyCare, E-Health Mom, and M-Mama form a responsive, life-saving ecosystem that ensures timely and dignified maternal and child healthcare at the community level.
